Is it possible that "localhost" is not defined on your machine? See your "host" file
or try using http://127.0.0.1:3000 (localhost is defined as 127.0.0.1 not as a default
but hardcoded in the host file.

I was able to bring up NTOP and browse through some of the features, but
now when I type in http://localhost:3000 <http://localhost:3000/> I
get a server not found or dns error. I'm using DHCP for my network
architecture.

                                I am a beginner, I installed ntop-win32
on a machine running windows 2000. I cannot connect to the web
interface, our firewall keeps denying access even though the web
interface is 127.0.0.1:3000. Also, I'm not a 100% certain that the
network card is in promiscuous mode. Documentation on running ntop over
Windows seems to be absent. Help!
