Is it possible that "localhost" is not defined on your machine? See your "host" file or try using http://127.0.0.1:3000 (localhost is defined as 127.0.0.1 not as a default but hardcoded in the host file.
Serge >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 01/15 10:46 am >>> I was able to bring up NTOP and browse through some of the features, but now when I type in http://localhost:3000 <http://localhost:3000/> I get a server not found or dns error. I'm using DHCP for my network architecture. -----Original Message----- From: jac engel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2003 8:06 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [Ntop] NTOP for Windows Looks OK, what do you see at : http://localhost:3000 <http://localhost:3000> Jac -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Rich Glauser Sent: Tuesday, January 14, 2003 17:20 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [Ntop] NTOP for Windows I installed Winpcap when I originally installed ntop. I cannot connect to the web interface, our firewall keeps denying access even though the web interface is 127.0.0.1:3000. Also, I'm not a 100% certain that the network card is in promiscuous mode. Documentation on running ntop over Windows seems to be absent.
