Sounds like a libpng conflict. You need to have the 1.2.x series, NOT the
1.0.x series which RedHat likes to install.

rpm -qa | grep -i libpng

Make sure (check with rpm -q <rpmname> -i) which version you have

We put logic in the development version to trap this and at least put out a
warning graphic.

Subject: [Ntop] ntop graphs

Hi,

I have downloaded and installed: ntop-2.1.3-0.i386.rpm
under RedHat 8.0.
No dependencies were required during installation.

Everything works fine, the only problem is I cant see
any graphs, nowhere.

I am running P3-866 with 512MB RAM memory, RedHat 8.0,
lastest patches and updates.

gcc is: "gcc 3.2 20020903 RedHat Linux 8.0 3.2-7"
(though I didn't compile ntop)

any help/ideas are welcomes...

thank you
