ntop 2.1.0 is obsolete and unsupported.

STFW... Googling for 'uses obsolete PF_INET,SOCK_PACKET' finds a bunch of
hits (800+)

Most of 'em, especially
http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/snort/2000-03/0012.html seem to
indicate y'all need to update your libpcap to something current.

Subject: [Ntop] ntop failed at boot start

Under my Debian (Testing with a 2.4.20 kernel) i installed ntop v.2.1.0
(apt-get install ntop).
Unfortunately at boot start, the launch of ntop failed
The error is :
ntop uses obsolete (PF_INET,SOCK_PACKET)

I found only one topic on this problem
(http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.ntop.general/1988) but it doesn't
explain nor solve the problem.

Also if i start ntop manually then it works and doesn't display the same
error message.

Any idea on how to solve this problem ?
