Nope, it's automatic.

Read the ./configure log - maybe there was a warning you skipped, and/or
read the system log messages from ntop's startup - if there were problems
loading a specific plugin, it's reported there.

Subject: [Ntop] ntop 2.2.1 plugins

I have installed and ran ntop but when I go to the web site the plugins are
not installed. Is there a specific command to install them and can I do
the command while ntop is running or do I have to restart ntop with new
parameters?
