hello again I have sent you another question yesterday. It was about problems with 2 gigabit cards and merging with ntop. I have found some informations, that ntop is not able to handle 2 or more gigabit interfaceses with more than 50% traffic.
My next step was to test nprobe with ntop. I tried to install on Debian 3.0, Suse 8.1 and WIN98. All of them looked very well, but in ntop on the netflow window were all the time only a 0 standing. The configuration was: ntop and nprobe on one computer and also on two seperate. the port for the udp connection was the default 2055, also tested with 2000. the name of the collector was localhost, 127.0.0.1 and also the real ip-address. in the switch nic was netflow device selected and of course netflow plugin active. So it seams that there is a essential problem in my installation, but I have no idea what is wrong. I would be very glad for some help or installation rules. thanks a lot herbert Mit freundlichen Gren Herbert Schreiber Fon +49 911 6573 220 Fax +49 911 6573 201 EMail [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- Rundfunk-Betriebstechnik GmbH, 90431 Nrnberg, Wallensteinstrae 119 Amtsgericht Nrnberg HRB 609, Geschftsfhrer: Dipl.-Ing.
