You can't actually run with the interface 'disabled', unless you use the
(2.2 and below --enable-micro-ntop ./configure option).  You can use ntop's
built in security to limit who can access the web server.

Read the bit in docs/FAQ on setting up additional users.  There's also an
entry in there about using an Apache server as a proxy for ntop (i.e. using
the security of the Apache server).  That entry is, IIRC, a bit dated (1.3
maybe), but it's a model...

All - We have a security conscience environment but would like to implement
NTOP.  We would like to configure NTOP by having a server collecting the
data from all the clients.  The server will have its Web interface enabled
but the all client will have their NTOP web interface disabled.  First of
