12 machines isn't a valid sub-net. If you can't do it through CIDR notation, you can't tell it to ntop. A /28 mask, however is valid. 192.168.1.0/28 which is hosts in the range 192.168.0.0 -> 192.168.0.15
Google for CIDR. -----Burton -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Steve Abrahall Sent: Friday, July 18, 2003 12:34 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Ntop] local-subnets HI I'm having a bit of trouble with the correct syntax for the - m flag I have a small network that I want to describe as a local network lets say it's ip address 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.12 All machines are using a subnett maks of 255.255.255.0 How would I configure the m -local-subnets flag just to look at these 12 IP adress? Thanks in advance Steve _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
