Hi Burton and all list, I have spent the last days trying to work on your papers and on the man pages of rrd.
But I am sorry... I didn't understand a lot of things... One thing that I have understand is that a good solutions (workaround) is to change the ring buffers xff values from 0.5 to 0.1 but how can be done this? I only see the creation via ntop log... how can interact with this value? Is actually possible? However I have set the parameters via the rrdplugin page to this: rrdtool create --start now-1 file --step 60 DS:counter:COUNTER:60:0:12500000 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:4320 RRA:MIN:0.5:1:72 RRA:MAX:0.5:1:72 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:60:720 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1440:30 and now I am having pretty good results with the graphs... But there are too many things left to understand for me... Please spend some more time again with me! Thanks. For the little problem I have asked to the wan administrator and he says that it is a sdh circuit of 2Mb/s cutted at 256Kb/s via time slot modulation. And that the CIR and MIR are the same and are 64Kb/s for central hub to external hub and 96Kb/s in the other sense. So how can you explain that behaviour? Thanks again burton! _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
