..uhmmm, the good old 'rpm -Fvh ' can _also_ be fed a nice long list of 
errata updates off a mirror, I usually defined the host and path and 
put those and "&& rpm -Fvh \" on top of `ls -rt1` prefixed $h$p or
somesuch, in an editor, and just middle-clicked it into the xterms,
nowadays I enjoy the 'apt-get update ;apt-get upgrade' boredom.  ;-)
