Subject: [Ntop] [Warning-newbie&OT]Under the gun for netflow setup

I am new to Cisco, and I have been asked to pull in information from
netflow, from devices that do not even have it enabled. I am monitoring
right now spanned ports, which I was able to figure out. I have also gone
through docs on the Cisco site, about netflow, but can't seem to understand
the workings of it, to the point of coming up with the configuration setup,
i.e.: being given the IP address of the ntop machine which I want to be the
collector, how do I configure a 6500 (actually two, running in HSRP mode) to
dump everything they "see" to this ntop server? I saw things like autonomous
system configuration vs. destination prefix vs prefix vs protocl port vs
source prefix ... which one is needed to just dump the whole netflow info
(?!? - is this the proper terminology?!?) to ntop? Anybody kind enough to
enlighten me?

TIA,
Papi
