IIRC that was one of the bugs that was fixed.  2.2 is unsupported, latest stable release is 2.2c.  However, we're focused on 2.2.9x, on the way to a 2.3 (or 3.0) release, soon, so we're not looking at 2.2x anymore.  If the bug isn't fixed in 2.2c, then grab the cvs and give it a try.

Subject: [Ntop] how to set dump interval in RRD Preferences

Hello!

I'm using ntop 2.2 (from the ports) on FreeBSD 4.8

About every 5 days ntop is crashing and a script in cron starts it again.

They problem is, that the dump interval for the RRD's is not correct anymore and so no data is collected to the RRDs.

i have to manually set the dump interval to 60 seconds (this is my standard).

is there a way to change the default setting (300 seconds) to 60 seconds?

i experimented to write back the prefsCache.db and to set the value with a text-only browser (elinks).

Both tries didn't work.

Perhaps you can tell me a solution.

Regards

Christian
