Hey Marco,

I think the problem that your having is that Ntop gathers all of it's
information recieved and dumps it into RRDs. The information that is being
displayed from the ntop web page will clear out after a while, the RRDs is
where the real data lies.

Cheers,
Josh.

Subject: [Ntop] Losing datas

hello,

i use ntop in combination with flow-tools. i configured flow-tools to
capture netflow data. after collecting
the flows i use flow-tools to send the whole captured flow to ntop. this
takes a few minutes. if i check the data on ntop everything looks good. but
if i
wait some minutes an check the data on ntop again it looks like that ntop
loses data. i lose hosts one after one till i dont have any hosts and any
data.
i think the problem is that ntop get flows just a short time, i send the
data and after sending the data ntop overwrites the information. i dont know
if
i explained right.

can anybody help me ?
thanks marco
