I realize that NTOP will try and resolve via DNS first, then potentially use the netbios name, finally use the IP address to display information. And I realize this can be set to only use IP address.
However, on the Usage chart under IP Protocols, for those hosts that it is unable to resolve it simply shows the first octet of the address under both source and destination. HOvering over the URL will show that each link is for a different host, but its only showing "172" as the address, or the hostname if its resolvable.
