Nope, idle host still exists - look in globals-defines.h for the entire set
of tunable values (with, BTW, if I may pat my self on the back) some
comments that explain each one of 'em...

You could set the idle periods 'high' - maybe 72 hours - that way the common
hosts (people connecting to the network every day) will always be there, but
one-timers would eventually disappear.  But this will take more memory than
a 10 minute purge.   Read the discussions in docs/FAQ for more, esp. the
probabilistic nature of the purge.
