Sounds like you've got a linkage problem - there is no libgd.1.dylib. There's a 1.8, but not a 1.
What else changed on the system? The last changes in configure were days
don't really know, i had gd and gd2 (uninstalled now), but other things only include some darwinports ports or Mac App ...
maybe later in week, i will try to clean all my dports tree and rebuild again
