Erik,
with the current CVS version of ntop I'm not aware of any memory leaks. Please report me the problem you have.

We have been using NTOP of several weeks now and are overall pleased with it. We might have some type of memory leak issues going on, but that's not to be addressed here or now -- still watching this issue for the time being. What I wish to know is if NTOP can somehow produce reports / give information on where a users has been going on the Internet. Right now we have NTOP running on a linux machine which is on a switch port that monitors all traffic that comes and goes through our internal firewall port. It's a great application to see what is going on at any given time, and where people are going. Is there a way to take this capability a step further and monitor an internal hosts Internet usage and be able to show where they have been going on the Internet, possible how long, and when?

Have you looked at the lastSeen plugin? It is enough for you?

We have managers in the office who occasionally approach us wanting to track where particular users have been going and how much time they have been wasting browsing the Internet. It would seem NTOP is close to being able to provide such a report, but I'm not sure as of yet. So can it extend to do this in some capacity?

We can discuss about that. Please drop me a mail.

Cheers, Luca

Thanks!

Erik
