Luca, what makes you say that performance might be a problem?

makes it look like the 1700 has a _reasonable_ processor ... dedicated
serial ... 106 MIPs ... 

I use ntop on a 2600 series router, exporting netflow, with an M860
processor.  This looks to be a much less powerful processor ... 

I think that the 1700 does have IOS loads available (12.2(4)YA6) that
support NetFlow.

Just some thoughts.  Please straighten me out if I am wrong.  Thanks
