Hello

I've installed ntop in my Linux Slackware 9.1 workstation at the
company where I work to monitor user activity in the network.

The network consists of about 200 hosts but ntop doesn't
display the TCP or HTTP traffic correctly. All the TCP/HTTP traffic
that I am able to see is the one that I generate on my own
workstation where ntop is installed. All TCP/HTTP fields for the
other hosts are zero when looking at the statistics.

I would also like to see the same statistics for the other
hosts/workstations in the network. This way monitoring,
for example, which internet hosts the users are viewing
during work hours.

Is this possible with the setup I've got? Or do I need to install
ntop on a gateway computer so that all traffic goes through
it?

Sincerely
Johannes Petersson
