Shhhh you'll wake the dragons.
Seriously, I've had pretty good results w/ K9 (http://www.keir.net) -- over the last 240 days, it's processed 33K emails (36.7% spam), with 6 false spams and missed 628 (2%). Note that those 33K emails are AFTER my ISP does its own spam filtering - which means I'm seeing only 40-50% of the total flow. Disabling my whitelist rules will mean a small period of retraining, as they accounted for about 23.8% of the flow. I know some of the newer tools are now claiming better than human recognition (i.e. 99.8%), but this one is free and runs well w/ Outlook and Eudora (wife's email). -----Burton > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of > Matthew Bellizzi > Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2004 5:28 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: [Ntop] VIRUS ALERT! > > > > >Bad Burton - go clean up K9. > > I'm just glad I'm not getting winmail.dat anymore :) > > _________________________________________________________________ > Say good-bye to spam, viruses and pop-ups with MSN Premium -- > free trial > offer! http://click.atdmt.com/AVE/go/onm00200359ave/direct/01/ > > _______________________________________________ > Ntop mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop > _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
