for which samples (in Perl, Python and PHP) are provided in
ntop/www/.

These samples use the dumpData.html?language=<Per|Py|PHP> CGIs to
provide much useful info cast into assignments to the programming
language's variables (==> no need to parse HTM; even with such finely
honed sabres as HTML::Parser it is a pain).

This is an alternative mrhethod (not necessarily a good one) of
archiving results from remote ntop monitors.
