Michael: No, not in my years of Access programming. The primary
thing that will blow out a file-based JetDB app is the instability of the
file server. An ODBC app -> a DBMS server (ie. SQL Server, mySQL, PostgreSQL,
Oracle, etc), is less sensitive to network gliches. Regardless, I doubt
that NTOP will detect what ails your app. The file server platform itself
is the more important factor, that is, Windows NT/2K/XP (acceptable) vs Samba
(my fav) vs a Win9x box (a complete waste of time.)
