Thanks for the info. The reason why I am asking about particulars in the suse buils is that I get this error while compiling from source:
ERROR: libpng header or library routines are missing * (yes means it was found, no means it was not found) * * png.h...yes * png_read_info() in -lpng... all my libpng files are present and I've tried many combos of --with-libpng-lib commands but it always hang here. Was wondering if anyone els has run into this on suse? On redhat and sun I have not seen this problem. > Um well, the file hasn't been updated since 2.0: > > $ cvs log README.Suse > > RCS file: /export/home/ntop/ntop/docs/README.Suse,v > <snip /> > total revisions: 2; selected revisions: 2 > description: > ---------------------------- > revision 2.0 > date: 2002/01/02 08:17:05; author: deri; state: Exp; lines: +0 -0 > Original ntop version 2.0 > > > But there's a name/email in there - have you tried that? > > Otherwise, just use the source. > > -----Burton > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Friday, May 07, 2004 9:32 AM > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: [Ntop] compiling on suse > > > > > > Greetings! > > > > According to the DOCS section from the readme.suse file there are > > precompiled binaried for ntop and gdbm at ftp://accordata.net. > > Has anyone used these files?
