Hi, following my question about Ntop 2.2c & MySQL, I
try to install Ntop 3.0 on my debian.
So, I changed my source.list from testing to unstable
and I installed the last verson of ntop (ntop3.0-rc1)
using apt-get install.
I worked fine, in the process, another lib was
installed to statisfy the dependencies.

Then, I launched ntop using:
ntop -u ntop -w 3000 -p /etc/ntop/protocol.list2
The processes are created & the log seems ok (except
that the library libgd.so is missing.). Ntop runs.

However when I try to access the graphical interface
with http://127.0.0.1:3000/ a message is displayed
saying 'connection refused' as if the server wasn't
running.

Is this problem related to the missing library
'libgd.so' ?
I found posts about this library saying that the
version 2.0.1 was required, but I wasn't able to find
it on my disk.

I thought apt-get will solve all the dependency
problem, that's why I choose this solution rather than
compiling the source code as I'm newbie under Linux.

Thanks

Nicolas
