pre1 is obsolete with the release of 3.0. While there's very little difference between rc2 and 3.0, there's a lot of differences with the other versions (pre1, pre2, rc1):
3.0 - 2004/03/23 3.0rc1 - 2004/03/18 3.0pre2 - 2004/03/04 3.0pre1 - 2004/02/16 Please use 3.0. If it's still giving problems, there are a couple if #ifdef DEBUG lines in handleAddressLists(), which might give some info, but I doubt a problem is there.
