Ok, lets summarize: This sorting problem  (?) occurs on the precompiled Win32 -Version 
and the latest CVS-Verison compiled on a
Linux-box. Therfore it seems to be a bug  and it would gave us great pleasure, if the 
development-team off ntop will keep this bug
back in mind and find a solution for it.
We're currently evaluating this product for some customers and feel confident to sell 
a proper solution for network monitoring with
ntop in spite off these error.
If it's helpful for you, i can provide you access to one of the monitoring machines 
with that bug.
