I'm running on rh9 - compiled from cvs following the instructions on
http://www.ntop.org/download.html, and then ran 'ntop -d' manually.

AFAIK there's no binary package for FC2. The ones I posted @ SourceForge
for RH9 and FC1 are 99.94% identical - same ntop.spec file, etc.
The configureextra files are the same except LINUXredhat9 has some extra
stuff for the libxml2 stuff, which isn't critical.
Why don't you post more details?

i have to linux pc's here .. one is redhat9 and the other is on
fedoracore2
i don't have problems with fc2 not like with rh9 and noticed they have
different (format/arrangement) of ntop.conf
i also can't install it on service at rh9 than compared to fc2
any point to share?
