Hi Im running ntop version 3.0 on a Redhat 9.0.The computer is a Cinet-PPI 500 (200 Mhz with 512 mb ram). Ntop is set to monitor traffic on a Cisco Catalyst 2950SX-48 but whenever i set the switch to send data to the computer running ntop it stops responding. I've tried setting another NIC in the computer and run the webserver part on that NIC but the monitoring kills any communication with both NIC's. I cant get any contact either by ssh, ping or trying to open the webpage provided by ntop. If i stop the monitoring everything works fine and ntop has collected data in the time monitoring was switched on, and is presented in the webpage ok. So im wondering is there any spesific switch i need to start ntop with or is it just that my computer running ntop cant handle the load it is given when monitoring is turned on?
