I have this same situation on Redhat AS as well.

Ntop works wonderfully otherwise though!

Thanks,

Subject: [Ntop] ntop in deamon mode on Solaris 9 (Intel) fails

Hi

Have installed Ntop from the Sunfreeware site, when running it in deamon
mode it exits with a message saying this is normal, but no Ntop process is
running.
Has anyone seen this and is there an easy fix ?

thanks in advance.
Dave
