Hello, I am running the NProbe 3.0 on my Fedora Core 1 desktop running on Pentium 3 connected to my office's LAN (no mirror port or stuff like that). I am writting my own Netflow V9 collector, to collect netflow v9 from NProbe 3.1. Everything is ok when I specify the template to have the fields of those of V5 and payload the payload field. When I start the NProbe with all the field option specified, NProbe will give an output : -- Unable to handle field type 3 -- Unable to handle field type 18 ..... Unrstandably, NProbe wont be able to get the information considering my desktop NIC and where it is deployed in my network. The thing is, the Teplate that I receive from NProbe contains such field that NProbe says it was "unable to handle...". And the parsing in the collector went haywire, which I suspect is because the Data flow set isn't the same as the what Template Flow set had specified because of the "unable to handle field..." issue. Is my understanding correct? If yes, what can I do about it? Shouldn't NProbe not sent Template flow set for that inculdes field that it is "unable to handle..." ? Regards, Bar
