What OS?  Linux probably??

That message is just a pass through from libpcap.

Maybe you need to ask on their lists...

? Do other tools (e.g. tcpdump) handle br0?  IIRC they don't - although
there were some kernel patches that made bridge devices more 'real' back
when I was playing with them, I don't think they made it into the kernel.
