Yes, trend data does come up but that's based on machine's ethernet
address (MAC address). I don't see trend data for IPs that are on the
Internet i.e. who share the same MAC of my Internet gateway.

I believe that RRDplugin only picks up the local subnet and charts them
out using the MAC address.

My requirement is to keep trend data for IPs that are behind Internal
routers.

You have indicated that mistakenly we can have trend data for Entire
Internet. If that is possible then my requirement is possible.

Currently I can't figure out how to keep trend data recorded per IP, it's
been done per MAC address and stored in the rrd directory with the
subdirectories as XX/XX/XX/XX/XX/XX so that each segment of the MAC
address is a subdirectory under the rrd cache directory.

I hope this explains.
