Hi Nic,

you have to _export_ the CVSROOT variable...

type these steps:
prompt# export CVSROOT=:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/export/home/ntop
prompt# mkdir my_ntop_goes_here
prompt# cd my_ntop_goes_here
prompt# cvs login (enter 'ntop' as password)
prompt# cvs checkout ntop

There can be one warning when doing the cvs login (was so for me)
ignore it simply.
