Yes, I agree - but that mantra is not prominently mentioned/displayed anywhere
PRIOR to installing/running Ntop.  The FAQ on www.ntop.org is woefully out of
date.  When I installed and ran Ntop the first time, rrdplugin was already
enabled and it started sucking up disk space right off the bat.  I would suggest
a warning on the top of the rrdplugin config page with a recommendation to
always include a filter when enabling the plugin.

Also, there's no link (on www.ntop.org) to the wiki you have now which would
have been helpful. 

I guess I should add my own contribution to the wiki and get on with it.
