Not necessary. I've got a patch in the works to restore
--set-pcap-nonblocking. Yes, according to the man page it doesn't work with
pcap_loop (but it does) and it shouldn't be necessary (but it is).

With the wider range of threading libraries now available under FreeBSD,
it's obviously NOT necessary for some 4.x users (and probably not necessary
for the current 5.x - I'm not sure about 5.1/5.2). But both you and I have
the problem in late 4.x - my install is pure vanilla from the 4.10 .iso cds.
So unlike 3.0, where we thought we understood who did need the option and
who didn't, and so we had code in configureextra/FREEBSD, this time we won't
try to be clever.

S'be'it - for ntop 3.1 this will be an option - both command line and web
page (but you'll need to try the command line first, since without it, you
couldn't get to the web page to set it). If you need it, set it, but try
without first.

I agree; FreeBSD 4.x is dead in the water for 3.1 ntop.

Should I raise a bug report ?
