That's what RRD files are for. Start with the paper @ SourceForge. Also
there is stuff in docs/FAQ and some scripts in the source tree that people
have contributed. There may be a script on SourceForge in the User Contrib
area too...

Subject: [Ntop] Storing Data - MySQL?

Hi there..

I'm trying to overcome two issues with Ntop. One has been discussed in
detail and that's memory usage.

I"m hoping there is a way to store all data in MySQL or similar storage so
that as much RAM doesn't get used and that each time I restart I don't lose
my data. I'm digging for docs on this and the only reference I can find it
an outdated document in 2002 that says "experimental" on it in regards to
using MySQL.

Just wondering where I can find docs on how to setup Ntop to use a LOT less
memory and to have storage for future...?

Thanks,
Paul
