That's what RRD files are for. Start with the paper @ SourceForge. Also there is stuff in docs/FAQ and some scripts in the source tree that people have contributed. There may be a script on SourceForge in the User Contrib area too...

Hi there.. I'm trying to overcome two issues with Ntop. One has been discussed in detail and that's memory usage. I"m hoping there is a way to store all data in MySQL or similar storage so that as much RAM doesn't get used and that each time I restart I don't lose my data. I'm digging for docs on this and the only reference I can find it an outdated document in 2002 that says "experimental" on it in regards to using MySQL. Just wondering where I can find docs on how to setup Ntop to use a LOT less memory and to have storage for future...? Thanks, Paul _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
