Re #2 - right - it goes into Makefile.am (but FWIW, use $(DESTDIR) not
${DESTDIR} - there's a difference between Make and shell substitution.

I've got it in my /stable patches to go when I start pushing stuff.

Re #1 - first I want to commit what I already used for 3.1's posted .rpm
files, then I'll look at improvements :-)

Subject: RE: [Ntop] RH9 Build issues

I copied my hacked-up ntop.spec from the 3.1 tarball here:

<http://home.sewingwitch.com:8000/Stuff/ntop-3.1.spec>

I still need to document the changes I've made, and I haven't had time yet
to look at Dag's spec file to see if I need to merge features from it.

I had to patch the Makefile, and the required patch is in the same
directory:

<http://home.sewingwitch.com:8000/Stuff/ntop-makefile.patch>

Burton, this is to the generated Makefile, so something similar needs to be
pushed upstream into the automake source.
