The spec file in the packages/RedHat directory works fine, but because of
chicken/egg issues is usually a little behind.

The version used to create the rpms posted to SourceForge is in the cvs.


Ken's version is tuned more for the rpmbuild in FC2, mine works across the
RPM world. Take your pick...

After hacking on the spec file, I was able to get 3.1 working on FC2. My
SRPM and spec files:

You can generate a binary RPM like this:

rpmbuild --rebuild ntop-3.1-2.src.rpm

I recommend doing this as a mortal, not as root. Here's a web page on
