-S is long gone... use current ntop and read docs/FAQ's articles on persistent data.

Subject: [Ntop] NTOP saved statistics

Hello,

I’m a newbie with NTOP. I use it with the NetFlow plug-in for Cisco Routers. Everything works fine.

I only have a little question about the saved statistics. I understood that when you choose the –s option, all the stats are stored on the disk and it does not start from scratch when you reload the daemon. But my question is: when I do not put this option and I do not restart the daemon for a while, where are stored the currents stats? I think it’s probably on the disk but is there a limit to set? Will it fill up my hard disk until there’s no space anymore?

Thanks in advance,

Vincent JAQUES
