I recently rebuilt my NTop server on the latest version of RH. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to stabilize NTop on that platform. It runs for awhile (5 minutes to 2 hours or so), then segfaults or stops responding to web requests. When I had stability problems with 3.0 running the CVS version helped, but in this case the latest CVS just makes it worse. I've done my best to turn off anything that might overload the box (--track-local-hosts,--disable-sessions,--no-fc,--disable-decoders,--disable -schedyield,-p /etc/ntop/protocol.list with a short protocol list, etc) since this is a 50Mb WAN link. 3.0 cvs was stable on RH 7.3, but with both NTop and RH changing I'm not sure what's up. What other information can I provide? What steps should I take?
