Yes and no - depends upon YOUR network layout.

Read docs/FAQ - there are a lot of articles in there on how ntop works.
You'll have to map that understanding against your knowledge of the network
to figure out where you need sensors.

I would like to know if enabling promiscous mode is enought to see all
traffic on the network with Ntop. Someone told me that I don't need to
configure Sflow, or Netflow, or SPAN into switches to see all traffic, is
