Hi Jean-Marc,

I think a better option is to use rrd. In past experiences I got frustated trying to integrate ntop and MySQL. Anyway, good luck !

Subject: [Ntop] Logging to MySQL

Hi,

I've tried to make ntop (on LinuX Fedora Core 3 RPM package downloaded
from rpm.pbone.net) log to my mySQL server.
but it seems that my version doesn't recognize the tags :

"mySQL options: [-b|--sql-host <host:port>] [-v|--mysql-host
<username:password:dbName>] "

Actually, there is no info in my man pages concerning MySQL access !

Do you have to specify it while compiling ?
How is the database / tables created ?
What is the Table structure ?

Does anybody know some third-party software to use to have a look at
the datas collected ? ( like for Snort for example )

Thanks a lot for your help !

JM
