As for the parameters, well, read the man
page.
You will want to use the cvs version because of the new
--instance parameter. So you also need to look at the (current)
docs/FAQ or the commit message for that change (search ntop-dev - how?
read docs/FAQ - it tells you how to search the list using Google).
Lastly, there will be a new version of packages/RedHat/ntop.init
in the cvs in the next few days, which (for RedHat and similar Linuxes)
implements this: cp it, edit one internal parameter, create a config file and
Bob's-Your-Uncle.

I am currently evaluating ntop as a
possible usage reporting tool at a small server hosting farm.
This service should eventually be available to each
server owner.
Is there perhaps a way for setting up profiles in
the ntop interface with limited access to a specific NIC or network address
range?
If profiles are not possible or limited, is there a
way to run a few ntop instances on the same computer simultaniously? I've tried
investigating this myself but can't even find where to change the default port
from 3000 to something of my liking.
