Read the FAQ - intop is gone. 1.3 has both technical (i.e. lots of bugs,
many lethal) and security issues AND IS NOT RECOMMENDED NOR SUPPORTED.
"intop is not supported. It's gone and no longer in the cvs. For a look at
Rocco's new, work-in-progress, download ntcsh, the ntop enabled tcsh shell."
However, I believe Rocco has stopped work on this.
FWIW, all of our files are on SourceForge - even many older ones which
aren't shown in the directory - again from docs/FAQ:
"Q. I can't find a file at SourceForge!
A. You can reach the archives through any SourceForge mirror, e.g.
http://telia.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ntop/
^^^^^ change that qualifier to one that's close to you.
It has ALL the files unless we explicitly delete them..."
It looks like SourceForge has rearranged things, but
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/n/nt/ntop works.
However, because of the age and problems, I did delete 1.x. Quite a while
ago. You'll have to Google for it - I'm sure it's lying around the web
somewhere.

I used to use ntop because it was nice and small and worked from the
console. It looked like top and had a small codebase and footprint.
I can't seem to install the old ntop from the FreeBSD ports tree, and I did
not save my old sourcecode distributions of it ... and further, I no longer
see `intop` included with ntop.
Where can I find old source tarballs of the old ntop, OR where is intop in
the new source tarball ?
