Sorry for beeing late with the answer. Regarding the mutex error messages: there is no more information apart of what i wrote earlier. There are some more problems (probably with no connection to mutex): **WARNING** Unable to load plugin '/usr/lib/ntop/plugins/xmldumpPlugin.so' **WARNING** Message is '/usr/lib/ntop/plugins/xmldumpPlugin.so: undefined symbol: dumpXML' The other strange issue is that ntop creates a "/(null)" top level directrory with a "interfaces/eth0" subdirectory. This subdirectory contains some .rrd files. On the same time there are (probably) the same .rrd file in the /usr/share/ntop/rrd/interfaces/eth0 subdirectory also.
