Subject: [Ntop] config for using Netflow with ntop
Hi,
I am a new ntop user and am trying to setup Netflow
with ntop.
As per documentation, I have enabled the Netflow plugin. However,
I get the following messages when I try to "Switch"-
Note that the
NetFlow and sFlow plugins - if enabled - force -M to be set (i.e. they disable
interface merging).
Sorry, you are currently capturing traffic from only
a single interface [eth0].
This interface switch feature is meaningful
only when your ntop instance captures traffic from multiple interfaces. You must
specify additional interfaces via the -i command line switch at run
time.
I am using the web interface and can see only two interfaces- eth0
and lo under the startup options in Admin menu. Do I need to specify a "dummy"
interface for Netflow? If yes, how can I do that? Also, what other
configurations am I required to do to get Netflow working?
Help is highly
appreciated!
Thanks.
Neelay.
