Well, limits are often quoted as CIR (Committed Information Rate), but allow bursting to higher rates.  But without understanding the network layout and where the sensors are, I can't begin to guess.

Subject: [Ntop] NTOP Netflow and Peak Data Throughput

Hi,

I have installed NTOP 3.1 and I am using the Netflow Plugin with it. It is collecting data fine but for example a customer of ours is on a 2MBs fixed speed leased line and the NTOP stats are saying that the peak data throughput is 6.7MBs. How can this be possible?

Many thanks

Matthew
