Not sure if you got a response yet.
Go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:3000 (default ntop page)
Nothing to do with Apache. Ntop has it's own webserver.

I was able to get ntop up and running error free But,,,, No web interface I went to MailScanner warning: numerical links are often malicious: http://xxx.xxx.xxx And nothing…. Ok, maybe it needs apache running? Got the apache default page up just fine, but no ntop web interface. Let’s check the README! Nothing Let’s check the man pages! Nothing Found a file called ntop.html Pointed apache to it Got the man pages for ntop up beautifully! Is ntop running? Yes.
