Look in config.log -- you will see the exact test program and failing
compile messages.

Posting the extract from ./configure might be a good idea, rather than
making us guess.

Nop. I have included the parameters but configure still did not pick the
headers up, hence the question. I was hoping for someone to say "it works
here", so that I simply could doubt my Debian installation. No I have to
figure out what the eact problem is ;-).

BTW: I have read your FAQs about the documentation questions, but I cannnot
figure out how the security is done. Do you know a link to a security
"howto"?
