Read the back traffic on this list and the FAQ - there are two types of sFlow packets - one gets counted and dropped.

I'm running ntop to analyze sflows from our external network switches(Extreme summit 400). I've got the switch configured, and the flows are getting to ntop(they appear in the log and are counted by the plug-in), but no data gets added to anything but the sFlow count. From the flow stats, I get this: Flow Statistics Received Flows Flow Senders 65.214.43.3 [8 pkts] Number of Packets Received 8 Number of Packets with Bad Version 0 Number of Packets Processed 8 Number of Valid Flows Received 0 Number of v2 Flows Received 0 Number of v4 Flows Received 0 Number of v5 Flows Received 8 why are none of them valid? -a -- ____________________________________________ Aaron Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] TechTarget PGP keyid: FBE946C5 117 Kendrick St, Suite 800 Phone: (781) 657-1519 Needham, MA 02494 Fax: (781) 657-1100 _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
