Luca and I usually use Fedora Core ... Not always current, I was on 2 up until the 3.2 release, he was on 4 AFAIK. But we also play with or work on a bunch of them.
I'd advocate one that makes it easy to install the required tools and doesn't throw on a bag o' stuff when doing a minimal install, since for real usage, the machine should be dedicated to ntop (both for performance and security). So my *PERSONAL* preferences are Gentoo or Fedora (but I still end up removing a lot of cruft). I know of NO REASON you can not use ANY distro - at worse you will have to compile from source. -----Burton -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alex Pinheiro Machado Rodrigues Sent: Wednesday, December 21, 2005 9:27 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Ntop] Best Linux for NTOP Which is the best compilation of Linux for NTOP?
